Our Website SEO Grade is 98/100

Website Grader is a free SEO tool that provides an SEO score for your website with custom search engine optimization and marketing advice for your website. Our site scored a website grade of 98/100!

Use the Website Grader to enter your website, your keyword phrases and your competitors to receive a report about the marketing effectiveness of your website.

We got a 98/100 but the grade may fall soon as many QOT readers with even more popular sites than this check out the tool.

“A website grade of 98 for www.quickonlinetips.com means that of the thousands of websites that have previously been submitted to the tool, our algorithm has calculated that this site scores higher than 98% of them in terms of its marketing effectiveness.”

I got 2 useful alerts after they scanned our website –

1. High Number Of Meta Keywords – We believe that though the search engines don’t weigh keywords as heavily as they used to, they’re still important to get right. By using a high number of keywords, it is possible that you are diluting the effect of your most important keywords. We would suggest keeping the keywords to 10 or less.

2. Domain Expires Within A Year – We would suggest renewing this domain with your registrar. Google and other search engines may penalize websites with domains that are set to expire soon. The reason for this is that many spam sites are often registered for short periods of time.

So I have 2 tasks planned out – reduce number of META keywords (more search engine ranking factors) and register my domain name for many more years (domain names can expire by mistake and domain snatchers are always on the lookeout).

I have been thinking of writing about website grader for a long time since I had my site graded three times already, once when I first started then a couple of months back and then recently, now my site’s grade is at 89th percentile…. I was thinking of writing about it after talking to an SEO expert (Mark) from hubspot – who emailed me a couple of times about setting up some time for free advice on how to improve the site further….. my grade has improved quite a bit but the level of writing remains at 8th grader’s level….which I don’t really understand why!! I really liked the grader… congrats for coming up so high in grading…

I used it. Its great website and really helping me in upgrading.

Some very interesting points there. Usually when I build a website I register the domain name for a minimum of 5 years. I figure if your site does not peform in 5 years, then chances are it wont.

As for the use of keywords, I usually only use them in the body text. In the meta keywords field, I don’t usually use more then 10 keywords

Website grader is an excellent tool. I started a virtual tour company regal360.com 2 months ago. My initial score was a 15, and a little over 2 months later and I am at an 87. I knew very little about SEO and this tool has helped me correctly SEO my website. The results are increased traffic, increased alexa rank, and a increased business. I also have a membership with seomoz.org their tools are excellent. I highly recommend this tool.

When setting up your meta keywords you should list them in order of importance. Start with the most important keyword phrase firat and work your way down the order. Less is more, even 6 or 8 keywords are plenty.
