      There is a good work around for the problem, in fact it totally fixes it. Run PHP5. PHP4 is EOL’d and no longer supported.

    Interesting list. Hadn’t heard of TwitThis; it’s a bit like Tweet This which I created, except it uses JavaScript, whereas my plugin allows your readers to share your posts on Twitter with a TinyURL (or is.gd, Th8.us, etc.) created and stored in your WP database.

    I was disappointed that most of the Twitter plugins are for displaying your tweets rather than facilitating the sharing of your content by others, which was the reason for Tweet This.

    These are really nifty tools to use, great.

    But you know what I wanted for my site? Just a listing of all messages I wrote, and were written to me.
    So I created ShowTweets, a twitter plugin, which is also opensource and available for others to use.
    Anything that can be searched on the twitter site, can be displayed in the plugin.

Take advantage of the space and even put your blog URL in your background. After all and image is more noticeable then a text link.

    A couple years out of SEO, come back and now trying to grasp social media. Our WordPress blog tweets automatically and I’m not even sure how. We don’t have any plugins installed that do Twitter.     Thanks for the list of plugins. I’m still having a hard time though finding a plugin that shows the number of followers I have such as a feedburner counter, I found twittercounter to be the only site/plugin that gives such an option. Problem is that when someone clicks the subscribe/stats button instead of being brought to my twitter account to follow me they are brought to the twittercounter site to see my stats. I do not like that not do I like that you cannot follow me through a link on their site either. Basically they have me advertise for their whole site with me getting the honor to show my follower number :/
