Amazon Ships Problogger Book with Free Expedited International Shipping

I had recently ordered several blogging books including the popular Problogger book by Darren Rowse and Chris Garrett, and after the payment was through and the order was confirmed, Amazon informed us via email that though the other books were shipped, the “ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income” was not yet shipped.

This was unusual since the Amazon system detects if a book is not in stock and will not let you confirm the order (except for pre-orders I suppose). Immediately I logged into the Amazon panel to track the package, and  Amazon had automatically fixed us a free Expedited International Shipping for the book. Great!

We had ordered all the books to India via Standard International Shipping which costs $4.99 per shipment and $4.99 per item with Delivery within 18 to 32 business days (its so slow but cheaper). Expedited Shipping Rates to India cost $13.99 per shipment and $5.99 per item and Delivery within 8 to 16 business days. The Expedited International Shipping for this book is free as they have not charged me extra for the $13.99 shipment and $5.99 packaging per item!

So the Problogger Book has arrived in a week! Based on past experience rest of the books will arrive in about 3 weeks. Thanks Amazon for the great customer service… now off to read some blogging tips.
