Number Porting is available for all existing Google Voice users, so you can make your mobile number now your Google Voice number! Now get all of Google Voice’s features without having to give up your long-time phone numbers.

To get started, visit your Google Voice account > Settings > Click “Change / Port”. Porting your number to Google Voice costs $20 and is usually completed within 24 hours.

Remember you may incur additional charges, like early termination fees from your wireless carrier. So it is a good idea to contact your mobile phone carrier to get more details about the charges. Also note that your existing mobile service plan will be cancelled, and there are a series of FAQ to get started.

Google Voice is available in the U.S. only. Number Porting is currently available for existing Google Voice users only. If you do not want to port your existing number, you can always choose a free Google Number and set it up on Google Voice.
