All samples are AI-generated portraits of fictional people, made with prompts from the book.
The problem
Free prompt lists give you a line and a guess
Most prompts online are one sentence long and were never checked. You try one, the face changes, the skin looks plastic, and you give up. Every prompt in this book was run and checked before it went in, and you see the real result next to it.
See the result first
Every prompt shows the image it produced, so you know what you’re aiming for.
Copy the full prompt
Setting, clothing, lighting, camera and finish, all spelled out and ready to paste.
Make it yours
The parts to change, such as colours, background, era or expression.
Know where it fits
LinkedIn, a website, a gift, a card or social media: each prompt says what it’s best for.
Fix it fast
Ready-made lines for a changed face, plastic skin, odd hands or stray text.
Tested on real variety
Checked on fictional people of different ages, genders and skin tones.
Not just solo portraits
Couples and whole families, faces kept
The hardest test for any AI portrait is keeping more than one face right. The book includes prompts tested on a couple and on a family of four.

Start from a plain selfie
Upload an everyday snapshot and turn it into a business headshot, a vintage studio portrait, an oil painting or a golden-hour photo. The prompts are written to keep the face, age and skin tone of the person in your photo.
Create someone new
No photo needed. Make striking portraits of fictional people for mood boards, posters, creative projects and practice.

The Executive Headshot · best for LinkedIn and company websites
Use the person in my uploaded photo. Create a professional head-and-shoulders business portrait of them. Keep their face, facial proportions, skin tone, age and hairline exactly as in the photo, so they are instantly recognizable. Dress them in a well-fitted charcoal blazer over a plain white top. Light the face with soft, diffused window light from the left and a gentle fill from the right. Use a plain, softly blurred light-grey background. Camera at eye level, 85mm portrait lens look, sharp focus on the eyes. Confident, approachable expression with a natural slight smile. Keep natural skin texture, with no heavy retouching. Photorealistic. Portrait 4:5.
Fix line: if the face changes, send this next
“The face no longer looks like the person in my photo. Redo it keeping their exact facial features, face shape and age from the original, and change only the clothing, lighting and background.”
That’s 1 prompt. The book has 50, each with its result image and fix lines.

Questions
Before you buy
Which AI tool do I need?
For prompts that start from your own photo, use an AI image tool that lets you upload a photo. The new-portrait prompts work in any AI image tool, though results differ a little between tools.
Do I need design or photography skills?
No. Copy the prompt, change the parts marked to customise and paste it into your AI tool. Each prompt has fix lines if the first result isn’t right.
What do I get, and how?
The ebook as a PDF. After checkout you get a download link by email.
Can I use the portraits I make?
The images you create are yours to use, within the terms of the AI tool you use. The book itself is for your own use and can’t be shared or resold.
