Napster Music Provides “Free Download of the Day”

Ever wanted to download a free music mp3 from Napster? Lifehacker points that the popular online music service Napster is giving music fans a free (and legal) MP3 download every day.

Visit the Free Download of the Day section and check out the free mp3 available for download today. I tried the free download link and it alerted me that “We’re sorry but you cannot purchase tracks from outside the United States”. So it seems to be a US only offer. The free music is not exactly a Britney Spears or Shakira album, but you can find many more bands you never knew about.
