Napster Music Provides “Free Download of the Day”

Ever wanted to download a free music mp3 from Napster? Lifehacker points that the popular online music service Napster is giving music fans a free (and legal) MP3 download every day.

Visit the Free Download of the Day section and check out the free mp3 available for download today. I tried the free download link and it alerted me that “We’re sorry but you cannot purchase tracks from outside the United States”. So it seems to be a US only offer. The free music is not exactly a Britney Spears or Shakira album, but you can find many more bands you never knew about.

Since I installed WorldSpace satellite radio, the 24 hours ad free music has reduced my need for streaming online music. Indian music lovers might like to try Dhingana for free streaming bollywood music.
