Is Blogrush Actually Sending Free Traffic? A 1 Week Report

The Blogrush widget is making its way on sidebars of most popular blogs. The dream to get 10 levels of free referral traffic is indeed encouraging, but are you getting the promised site traffic by displaying the widget on your prime advertising space?

I installed the Blogrush widget a week back and I share the current statisitics. A total of 43 bloggers have joined our referral network. 39 Bloggers joined the primary referral network, while 4 are the second level referrrals. Now it means 1:1 referral traffic from each referral.

Credits Earned Last 7 Days: 111,150
From Your Traffic: 61,534
From Your Referral Network: 49,616
Current Credit Balance: 77,903

Even a reasonable 1% click rate should get us over 1000 extra visitors over the week, but that does not happen. Moreover, why is it that 70% of credits are still unused – maybe it a lack of sites displaying the widgets, and the credits are adding up faster than they can be used. Though the concept is great, the concern among several bloggers is the very poor click rates. They respond by posting this on the dashboard that Click- through rates were very low right now due to problems with some users cheating the system.

Another good news is that they intend to introduce Blogrush Flavors which help you change the color of the widget and blend it better with the web design of your site and help increase the click through rates of Blogrush.

With new antispam mechanisms in place and new features coming in, I expect Blogrush should drive in some reasonable traffic. If you have not yet tried it, get Blogrush now and see if it works for you.
