Blogging Scholarship for U.S. College Students Who Blog

Are you a college student who wants to sponsor your education funds by blogging rather than borrow a student loan? Do you want $1,000 to fund your college education? The Blogging Scholarship is giving away $4,000 this year to college students who blog. The $1,000 scholarship is given 4 times per year to different students.

Scholarships Around the US announced the launch of this first ever Blogging Scholarship program. Some requirements are your blog must contain unique and interesting information, you must be a U.S. citizen with 3.0 GPA and must be enrolled full-time in post-secondary education.

You can nominate yourself or your friend. The top 10 scholarship finalists will be announced on October 30, 2006, followed by a public vote to determine the winner, to be announced on November 6th.
