Record Your “Life in a Day” on July 24
Youtube has launched Life in a Day, a cinematic experiment that aims to document one day on July 24, as seen through the eyes of people around the world. On July 24, you have 24 hours to capture a snapshot of your life on camera.
Kevin Macdonald, the Oscar-winning film director, will edit the most compelling footage into a feature documentary film, to be executive produced by famous director Ridley Scott. Check the video below for some thoughts from Kevin to make a successful video.
The film will premiere at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and if your footage makes it into the final cut, you’ll be credited as a co-director and may be one of 20 contributors selected to attend the premiere.
So how do you make the video? Find below a video example of ‘Life in a day” of one of my favorite bloggers Amit Agarwal.
On July 24, capture your day on camera and then upload your footage to the “Life in a Day” channel before July 31.
