Forget Google.com – Try Google Realtime Search

Its time to remove Google.com as your homepage. Switch to Google Realtime Search which lets you see up-to-the-second social updates from Twitter / Facebook, breaking news articles and buzzing blog posts about hot topics around the world.

Google Realtime Search lets you search faster and gets results directly on the new Realtime homepage. You can refine results and even pinpoint results by location, and time. See entire conversations and read full threads of conversations to get context about any topic.

Watch this video to get a good introduction to Realtime search.

Try Google Realtime Search right now to test it out. As the update rolls across, you might also use the “Updates” link in the left-hand panel of your search results to get realtime results. Google is getting faster everyday and is now giving search results faster than you can type.
