Switch From Google Reader to Feedly in 1 Minute

Looking for a Google Reader Alternative? Switch to Feedly in under a minute. After discussing the news about Google Reader Shutdown, my search for an excellent RSS aggregator ended with Feedly. Feedly allowed us to set up a Google reader synced account in under a minute! No additional account creation, has similar keyboard shortcuts and the layout options are amazing.

Google Reader to Feedly

1. We use the Google Chrome browser, so we grab the Feedly extension for Chrome (600,000 Chrome users already use it). It is also available for iOS, Android, Firefox and Safari.

2. After you install the extension, simply visit Feedly.com and Click on “Connect to Google Reader“.

3. After you click that button, a pop up asks you permission to connect to your Google Reader account.

4. Allow access to your Google data, and it connects to your Google Reader in one click. It syncs all your Google reader data and your Feedly account is ready to use. Your both accounts continue to stay in sync so you can easily try the service! Here are some suggested tips by Feedly for a better migration experience.

Feedly is an amazing Google Reader alternative, and I suggest you try it out. Feedly claims more than 500,000 Google readers have switched to Feedly in last few days, and I am not surprised.

Few days ago I switched to feedly, and so far I like it. I’m still getting used to it, since Reader was a part of my daily life for years, but all in all it’s been a better transition.

I actually like Feedly now much better than Google Reader. I have now switched completely and it is a more modern, visual and clean interface.
