Google Adsense Ads Without “Ads by Google”
Google Adsense is an excellent contextual advertsing program. You have seen characteristic “Ads by Goooooooogle” around the text link ads which display the fact that these ads are being presented by Google. Clicking on this link takes you to a page where you can give feedback about the ads you saw, report a policy violation, and learn more about Google Adsense and Google Adwords.
I usually insert adsense ads beneath the title. Today I saw a large 336×280 image ad of a beautiful girl on my site, with no “Ads by Google” link or url link and in fact nothing to suggest that it was a Google Adsense advertisement. It looked like this image was added to the post and it was not an advertisement at all.

What site did the image link to? I did not click on the ad to avoid violation the adsense terms of service (remember the 15 adsense mistakes). There was no url link beneath it to suggest any url too. I am sure it would have got a higher click through rate…
I am sure this is part of a secret experiment being conducted by Adsense guys. Anyone else notice such Google Adsense ads without “Ads by Google”?

Several weeks ago, I found AdSense without “Ad by Google” at someone’s AngelFire Free Page.
(for example:: http://www.angelfire.com/linux/suse3/ )
I got answer from Google by email,
> I looked into the website you mentioned, and it is a member of AdSense Premium, which has a different set of program policies and features than AdSense.
You can see the rule of that at https://www.google.com/adsense/premium-overview
> If your site receives more than 20 million page views a month, you may be eligible for premium service
Few can use it.
my site seldom display image ads. mostly it display ads. ;)
I had noticed a similar Leaderboard.
Why don’t they completely remove it ??
I think Advertisers have option to remove it

Incidently i think theres also going to be a shift from content based ads ,to content based – content !
