Google, Yahoo! Display India Independence Day Logos
August 16th, 2007 | Filed under Events, Google, India, Yahoo!.As India celebrated it 60th Independence day on August 15, 2007 - top web sites like Google, Yahoo!, Orkut recognised the event and changed their official logos to support the event. I was on the lookout to grab these logos, now you can check them out…
On Google India - the Google Logo hosted the Indian flag 
On Yahoo! India - the Yahoo Logo displayed the Spinning wheel 
Orkut Logo was in for a change too displaying the India national tricolor. 
Update: Spotted that Allan Fernandes, on behalf of all Indian WordPressers gifted Matthew Mullenweg and the entire team at Automattic, a special WordPress India Logo. He has huge logo at his site. This is cool logo that Indian bloggers can add in their sidebar.
