First you need to checkout the Get Windows 10 App. This will place a small Windows icon on the right bottom side. Click on it to reserve. You can cancel the reservation at any time. Even if you do not reserve, it will gradually roll out across the world and devices will start getting notifications.
If you do not see the Get Windows 10 app, it is possibly you are not on the latest version, Windows update is not enabled or there is other functionality issue. If your computer is not compatible, you might not see the icon before launch date.
