Flipkart One Day Delivery: Same-Day and 10-Minute Delivery Options (2026)

Need something from Flipkart today, not next week? In 2013 Flipkart launched “In-a-Day” delivery for Rs 90 per item in just seven cities. Today Flipkart one day delivery, same-day delivery and even 10-minute delivery through Flipkart Minutes are available across much of India. Here’s how Flipkart’s fast delivery options work in 2026, how to check if your pincode qualifies, and tips to get your order sooner.

Quick answer: Open the product page in the Flipkart app, enter your pincode and look for “Delivery by today” or “Delivery by tomorrow”. Same-day and next-day delivery depend on your city, the seller and the time you order. For groceries, essentials and some electronics, tap Minutes in the Flipkart app for delivery in about 10 to 30 minutes in covered cities.

Flipkart Minutes (quick commerce)

Flipkart Minutes is Flipkart’s quick commerce service for groceries, daily essentials, beauty products, accessories and even some phones and electronics, delivered from nearby dark stores in as little as 10 minutes. It launched in Bengaluru in 2024 and had spread to 30-plus cities and around 3,000 pincodes by the end of 2025, with plans to expand much further.

Flipkart same-day delivery

In February 2024 Flipkart started same-day delivery in 20 cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow and others. Orders placed by about 1 pm on eligible products (phones, fashion, beauty, books, appliances and electronics) can arrive before midnight the same day.

Flipkart one day delivery (next-day delivery)

Many products in larger cities show “Delivery by tomorrow”. This is the modern version of our original 2013 “In-a-Day” delivery and usually doesn’t cost extra. Eligibility depends on whether the item is stocked in a warehouse near you.

Standard delivery

Everything else arrives in a few days, depending on the seller’s location and your pincode. Flipkart may add a small delivery or handling fee on low-value orders, which is shown at checkout.

How to check Flipkart delivery for your pincode

1. Open any product page on the Flipkart app or website.
2. Find the Deliver to box and enter or select your pincode.
3. Flipkart shows the expected delivery date, any delivery fee and whether Cash on Delivery is available.
4. If a product says it can’t be delivered to your pincode, try another seller listed under See other sellers.

Tips to get faster Flipkart delivery

• Order early in the day. Same-day and next-day promises have order cut-off times, so morning orders have the best chance.
• Use the delivery filter. On search results, filter by delivery speed where available to see only items that arrive today or tomorrow.
• Prefer Flipkart Assured items. Products marked “Flipkart Assured” are quality-checked and usually stocked in Flipkart’s own warehouses, so they ship faster.
• Keep your address complete. A correct pincode, landmark and phone number avoids failed delivery attempts.
• Check Minutes for urgent essentials. For chargers, groceries or small gifts, quick commerce is often faster than regular delivery.

How Flipkart’s In-a-Day delivery worked in 2013

When we first wrote about it in December 2013, Flipkart’s In-a-Day guaranteed delivery cost Rs 90 per item, on top of normal shipping. It worked only in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Noida and Pune, for orders placed before 6 pm on business days. If the order was late, Flipkart refunded the delivery charge and added double the amount to the customer’s Flipkart wallet. Today’s same-day and next-day delivery is usually included at no extra cost, a big change in just over a decade.
