Tally Counter: Online Click Counter
This free tally counter counts anything with a tap, click or keypress: people at a door, laps, reps, birds, stitches or votes. Add several counters with their own names, count up or down, and your numbers are remembered in your browser even if you close the page.
Counts are saved only in this browser.

Saved counts and privacy
Your counters are stored in your browser’s local storage on this device, so they are still there if you reload or come back later. They are not sent anywhere, and they won’t appear on another device. Clearing your browser data, or using a private window, removes them.
A short history of tally marks
People have counted with tally marks for thousands of years, scratching lines on bone, wood and walls. Today’s “four lines and a strike-through” groups of five are easy to count at a glance, and mechanical hand-held clickers, the kind used by ushers and flight attendants, work on the same idea as this counter.
Timing as well as counting? Pair it with our online stopwatch. For random picks, use the random number generator.
