Random Number Generator 1-100 (No Repeats Option)

This free random number generator 1-100 picks a fair random number between 1 and 100 with one click. Change the minimum and maximum to use any range, pick several numbers at once, and tick No repeats when every number must be different, for example to draw raffle or giveaway winners.

?

Numbers come from your browser’s secure random generator (crypto.getRandomValues), so every number in the range has an equal chance.

Quick answer: Leave the range at 1 to 100 and click Generate for a random number. For other ranges, type a new minimum and maximum or tap a quick range like 1-10. To pick several different numbers, set How many numbers and tick No repeats.

How to use the random number generator 1-100

  1. Enter the lowest number in Minimum and the highest in Maximum. Both numbers are included, so 1 to 100 can give 1 or 100.
  2. Set How many numbers you want, from 1 up to 1,000 at a time.
  3. Tick No repeats if each number should appear only once, and Sort results to list them from smallest to largest.
  4. Click Generate. Your last few results stay in the list below so you can look back at them.

Random number generator with no repeats

With No repeats ticked, the tool draws numbers like pulling numbered tickets out of a hat without putting them back. Ask for 6 numbers from 1 to 49 and you get 6 different numbers. Ask for 100 numbers from 1 to 100 and you get all 100 in a random order, which is a quick way to shuffle a list or set a random running order.

Without it, each number is drawn independently, so the same number can come up twice, just like rolling a die twice. For dice games, use our dice roller, which also handles D20 and other dice.

Is it really random?

Yes, as far as any website can be. The numbers come from your browser’s built-in cryptographic random generator, crypto.getRandomValues, which is the same kind of randomness browsers use for security keys. The tool also removes the small bias that simple “random number times range” code can have, so every number in your range has exactly the same chance.

Nothing is sent to our server, and nobody, including us, can see or influence the result.

FAQ

How do I pick a random number between 1 and 10?

Tap the 1-10 button. It sets the range and generates a number at once.

Can I include negative numbers or zero?

Yes. Type any whole numbers, for example -50 to 50 or 0 to 9.

How many numbers can I generate at once?

Up to 1,000 numbers per click. With No repeats ticked, you can’t ask for more numbers than the range contains.

Can I use it for lottery numbers?

You can use it to pick numbers for fun, for example 6 numbers from 1 to 49 with no repeats. Every combination is equally likely, so it cannot improve your chance of winning.
