Yes or No Wheel: Spin for a Random Answer

Stuck on a decision? Spin the yes or no wheel and let chance decide. It gives a fair, random answer every time. Add Maybe for a three-way wheel, or type your own options, one per line.

Yes or no?

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to or stored on our server.

Quick answer: Click Spin. The wheel lands on Yes or No with an equal 50% chance. Use the presets to add Maybe or Ask again.

How the yes or no wheel works

  1. Think of a question that can be answered yes or no.
  2. Click Spin, or click the wheel.
  3. Read the answer under the pointer at the top.

The answer is picked with your browser’s cryptographic random generator, so Yes and No are exactly equally likely. With three options, such as Yes, No and Maybe, each one has a one-in-three chance.

Yes or no wheel options

  • Yes / No: the classic 50/50 decision.
  • Yes / No / Maybe: for when “not yet” is a real option.
  • Yes / No / Ask again: like a magic 8 ball, which sometimes refuses to answer.
  • Definitely / Probably / Probably not / No way: a softer wheel with four shades of answer.
  • Your own: type any answers in the box, one per line. Want Yes to come up more often? Add it twice.

When a random yes or no helps

A wheel can’t know what is best for you, but it is a good tie-breaker when both choices are fine and you are wasting time deciding: which restaurant, whether to go out tonight, which task to start first. Psychologists sometimes suggest a trick with coin tosses that also works here. Spin, and notice how you feel about the answer. If you are disappointed, you probably wanted the other option, and now you know.

For important choices, such as health, money or relationships, use the wheel for fun only and make the decision yourself.

Fun ways to use it

  • Party games and icebreakers: “Should I tell the embarrassing story?”
  • Classroom: a quick yes or no to settle which activity comes first.
  • Streams and videos: let the wheel decide a challenge live.
  • Daily choices: dessert tonight, gym today, new episode or bed.

FAQ

Is the yes or no wheel really random?

Yes. The answer is chosen randomly before the wheel moves, and every option on the wheel has the same chance.

Can I add more answers?

Yes. Type them in the box, one per line, or click one of the presets. For a full name picker with winner removal, use spin the wheel.

Is a coin flip the same as a yes or no wheel?

For two options, yes: both give a 50/50 result. Use our flip a coin tool if you prefer heads or tails.

Does it save my answers?

Only for this visit. Your last 20 answers are listed under the wheel and disappear when you close the page.
