Trillian is a popular multi-IM client that lets you connect to multiple IM and social networks at the same time, managing contacts and real time status feeds efficiently. The new Trillian Astra is a powerful tool to organize your online life and you can check out its long list of features.  Trillian has long ruled the IM space and now Mac users can enjoy the power of Trillian, with the new user interface for Mac OS X, providing you with a seamless experience across your operating system.

Developer Cerulean Studios says they are still working on Social network “feed” integration for Twitter, Facebook streams), Mail integration, customization options, Group conversations, Growl integration, “Status Item” support, Activity history viewer, Voice and video support and Setting your personal avatar. But those features should be out soon and you can look out.

Download Trillian for Mac (Alpha). An Alpha build means the software is in early stages of development, may not work on your computer and is meant for testers and developers. Download and install Trillian Mac at your own risk. Remember it will work on on Intel-based Mac computers with Snow Leopard.

Apple computers powered with Mac OS X already include the iChat client which is a rich instant messaging application that works with your AIM or MobileMe account. But many of my friends use Adium, a free instant messaging application for Mac OS X that can connect to AIM, MSN, Jabber, Yahoo, etc. Do you use Trillian?
