The 2000 Bloggers Project which started a few months back has collected 1998 blogger photos for its photo montage and if you missed it, you can still be included. But it is no longer as simple as posting a request comment; now you need to compete in a Blogger Essay Contest to get selected.
Announcing the Essay contest, the rules are simple –
1. You must have a blog.
2. You must have a picture of yourself.
3. Your blog must be at least a month or two old.
The Blogging essay can be submitted in 2 ways. The Preferred Method is to write a blog entry in your blog explaining why you’d like to be added to the 2k Bloggers photo montage and directory. Or try the Alternate Method to write a comment on their blog explaining why you’d like to be added to the 2k Bloggers photo montage and directory.
The winners will have a better deal than the rest of the 1998 blogs – They will recieve the 2000th and 1999th spot on the photo montage and a featured blog post about their blog with a link to their blog. All runners up will receive an honorable mention in one blog post with links to each blog.
It is essential to submit your entry as soon as possible as the contest will remain open for two weeks or twenty entries, whichever “comes last”. Check out the 2K Directory and Photo Montage to see the 2000 bloggers. I am also listed, find me!
