Will symbols show up everywhere?

These are standard Unicode characters, so they work in almost every modern app and website. Very new or rare symbols may show as an empty box on older devices that lack a font for them. Emoji-style symbols such as ✅ and ❤ may look different on iPhone, Android and Windows because each uses its own emoji design. In HTML you can also write many symbols as entities, such as ©; see the HTML entities converter.
