Photoshop Tutorials to Create Web 2.0 Design Effects



Web 2.0 has brought in a new design revolution characteristized by soft shadows, reflections, gradients and star shapes (violators), rounded corners and other similar imaging effects. And Adobe photoshop is a professional image editing software that makes these image designs easy to make.

Photoshop Lab has a great photoshop tutorials in 2 parts of their series - the Web 2.0 Design Kit that will teach you the necessary photoshop skill to let you design these images for your visit and become a photoshop expert yourself.

The first tutorial shows how to make Gradients (the reflective or glass effect seen in Apple’s “Aqua Buttons”), Reflections, soft shadows (and glows) and popping up star shapes (or violators) which are now popular with Web 2.0 professional web designers.

The second tutorial will teach you to make Diagonal Line Patterns and rounded corners, a new fad of web designers.
